This guide provides a checklist of key considerations to help PGRs use GenAI tools in line with UofG guidelines during their studies and when writing their thesis. The information consolidates existing advice available from the university webpages.

This is a user guide created by the Research Governance and Integrity Team in consultation with the Library Open Research team and the Good Research Practice network at UofG. This guide aims to promote fair and equitable authorship practice, including how to adopt a contributor role framework (using CRediT as an example), so that all contributions can be recognised appropriately.
