12. Meaning - making your meaning crystal clear
Some sentences and paragraphs read as though the writer has just tipped the half-digested contents of their head onto the page. This often means that the sentence/paragraph doesn't make sense to anyone but the writer, and maybe not even to the writer.To ensure that what you have written does make sense, re-read all your work as though you were the marker. Ask yourself two questions:
is my point clear?
is it directly related to the essay title?
If your point isn't clear, and does not seem to be related to the essay title, you will lose marks.
