This paper will summarize and explain these changes, at a detail level that should suit and serve junior and senior (levels 3 and 4) undergraduate Sports Science, Physiology & Sports Science (PSS), and Physiology students as well as serve as a primer for postgraduate students in these fields, albeit many details will be omitted or shortened, to which the student is referred to the original published papers for completeness.
